Nice Easter Brunch
I had a nice Easter brunch today with my Valentine’s Day “secret admirer” from earlier this spring. We still have a very close and loving relationship but it’s calmed down a little since our initial assignation on Valentine’s Day. So we were able to focus mainly on enjoying the brunch and chatting.
The brunch was wonderful. Everything from scrambled eggs to salmon, ham, and chicken. With rice pilaf, crepes, and some desserts that I couldn’t resist, so I had one. I’ll do some extra exercise tonight and pretend that it burns off all the extra calories. 🙂
Smith has a panel at 4pm Tuesday about gender, language, and culture in East Asia. Since I studied some related issues during J-Term this spring, I want to go to that if I can. It’s going to be a fun week. Easter today is a joyful holiday, brunch was great, the companionship was great, and classes are going well. Plus the panel on Tuesday.
I hope that your week is as good as mine seems like it will be!
